CANESCA Master Training Workshop in Lusaka

IGS Collaborating Faculty Member, Dermot O’Flynn, was in Zambia this week for the 5-day CANESCA Master Training Workshop in Lusaka.

The course focused on enhancing expertise and strengthening medical education, training 13 master trainers across the CANESCA region, and to equip those Master Trainers to, in turn, train trainers.

This is part of RCSI, CAI and COSECSA support for CANESCA under the RCSI/COSECSA Collaboration Programme.

For the last seventeen years, Dermot has worked with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – developing and delivering a range of clinical leadership programmes in Ireland, Middle East and in Africa, delivering Train the Trainer Programmes for COSECSA & CANESCA.
