A Review of Manpower Challenges

    Please see attached the recently published report entitled “Providing Quality, Safe and Comprehensive Anaesthesia Services in Ireland—a review of Manpower Challenges”.   This report was compiled following a detailed consultation period and in conjunction with the National Clinical Programme in Anaesthesia, Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and the Faculty of Pain.   The official launch of the document last week had representatives from DOH, HSE HSE- MET, IMC and the Forum of Postgraduate Training Bodies.

British Journal of Anaesthesia Workshop

  The BJA Anaesthesia & Cancer Workshop was held at the College of Anaesthesiologists on the 29th & 30th May 2013.   This prestigious event was attended by up to 20 leading Researchers from around the world who all have a shared interest that anaesthesia and perioperative events might influence recurrence and metastases.
