        The International Scientific Meeting in Anaesthesiology, “超越界限”, “Beyond Horizons”,  “Thar Leaslinte”, will be held on 22-23 November 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong.   The 2-day program will include lectures, workshops and free paper presentations covering various topics on anaesthesia, pain and intensive care medicine in addition to a health care industry exhibition.     Please see attached the recently published report entitled “Providing Quality, Safe and Comprehensive Anaesthesia Services in Ireland—a review of Manpower Challenges”.   This report was compiled following a detailed consultation period and in conjunction with the National Clinical Programme in Anaesthesia, Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and the Faculty of Pain.   The official launch of the document last week had representatives from DOH, HSE HSE- MET, IMC and the Forum of Postgraduate Training Bodies.
