The College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland’s new Critical Care Simulation area officially launches on Wednesday 5th September 2018. Former Irish international rugby player Jamie Heaslip is conducting the formal opening.

We are embarking on an exciting new phase for simulation training at the College, with the launch of the Critical Care Simulation Suite. The new simulation area covers the whole third floor of the mews building and offers trainees enhanced facilities with two simulation bays, a control room and a viewing and tutorial room.

This new simulated environment reproduces almost to perfection a clinical environment. This allows the trainees to fully immerse in the simulated scenario and ensures excellent learning outcomes.
