Countdown to Congress in Belfast

Preparations are underway for the Association of Anaesthetists’ first fully in-person conference in over two years. Annual Congress 2022 will take place on 14-16 September at the ICC in Belfast, Northern Ireland’s vibrant capital and birthplace of RMS Titanic.

Celebrating 90 years of the Association

Annual Congress 2022 will deliver three packed days of world-class anaesthesia education and more CPD than ever before (up to 15 hours available). To mark our 90th anniversary, we’ve lined up an exciting and diverse programme that reflects all aspects of the Association’s work in response to its members and the specialty. Annual Congress 2022 promises to offer more CPD than ever before and in exciting new ways, including five keynotes (including author and poet Michael Rosen and Dr Noelle Healy, Final year trainee and simulation fellow at the College of Anaesthesiology in Ireland), TED style talks, Q&As, live simulations, workshops and a spectacular dinner dance at the Titanic Museum.

We hope that you can join us at Annual Congress 2022 in Belfast, to reflect on our recent and distant past, reconnect with each other in the present, and look forward to the future of the specialty.
