Dublin, September 17th, 2019: The College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI) have today announced the recruitment of a National Clinical Lead in Patient Safety. In the 72nd World Health Assembly in May this year a resolution on “Global Action on Patient Safety” was adopted. BJA/RCoA- CAI: Collaborative Research Grant

The National Institute of Academic Anaesthesia (NIAA) have announced that an award of up to EU 100K per annum jointly funded by the British Journal of Anaesthesia (BJA) and the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI) will be made available to support and stimulate collaboration between investigators in the Republic of Ireland with investigators in the UK (including N.
