As the training of doctors becomes competency-based, the role of simulation and other forms of technology enhanced learning (TEL) have become even more important and widely adopted by Training Bodies. The College of Anaesthesiologists in Ireland plans to enhance its TEL capacity and use of simulation-based training in the coming years.
