College Council

The College Council governs the college, setting standards and managing training for anaesthesiology, intensive care, and pain medicine.

Education

The college training department organises and is responsible for all educational programs, workshops, and ongoing events.

Training

The College’s core function is delivering Postgraduate Specialist Training in Anaesthesiology, accredited by the Medical Council of Ireland.

Wellbeing

The Wellbeing, Health and Resilience Committee supports the wellbeing, health and resilience of all trainees and anaesthesiologists throughout their careers.

CAI Annual Congress 2026
